Ep. 54: Jeff Mackinnon and Improv Sketch group “Friends of Gertrude”

by Big Sauce on July 1, 2011

The magic in the UR studios is quite palpable. Back by popular demand is Boston native Jeff Mackinnon. He’s crusing through Beantown on his way to Edinborough (that’s Scotland, UK for you Kayla fans) for a two month stint of Set-List comedy shows (we explain what that is early on in the show). Jeff never fails to make us laugh with his sharp and witty humor.

Also dropping in at the second segment are Sam Ike & Laura Burns from the comedy sketch team “Friends of Gertrude”. Show producer BLuv gets into the mix and the barbs start flying.

There’s a surprise, improvisational visit from Margaret Thatcher, an Independence Day poem from Jeff, a special edition ramdom mooey re-ooh and rim shots galore (tell the gay guys not to get too excited – we’re talking about DRUM rim shots).
